Slovakia 2004 Euro Pattern Coin Set – Limited Edition 9-Coin Prototype Collection
Slovakia 2004 Euro Pattern Coin Set – Limited Edition 9-Coin Prototype Collection
A rare 2004 Slovak Republic Euro Pattern Coin Collection, created as a prototype series illustrating Slovakia’s proposed national designs for Euro coinage before the country officially adopted the Euro in 2009.
This collector’s presentation set contains nine prototype coins, representing the full Euro denomination structure from 1 cent to 5 euro, each featuring Slovak national symbols and architectural heritage.
The central medal-style coin prominently displays the National Council Building of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava, symbolizing the country’s modern statehood and European integration. Surrounding coins depict architectural monuments, historic motifs, and Slovak cultural elements proposed for early Euro coin designs.
The coins are housed in the original presentation case with certificate of authenticity, confirming the technical specifications and limited production of the collection.
According to the certificate, the set belongs to a strictly limited edition of only 3,000 numbered sets, produced as commemorative prototypes during the period when Slovakia was preparing for Euro adoption.
