A rare 2004 Lithuania Euro Pattern Coin Collection, issued as a prototype set illustrating Lithuania’s proposed national designs for the Euro prior to the country’s official adoption of the currency in 2015.
This presentation set includes nine pattern coins representing the complete Euro denomination structure, from 1 cent to 5 euro, each featuring Lithuanian national motifs and historic imagery associated with the country’s cultural identity. The central coin depicts Grand Duke Vytautas the Great, one of the most significant historical figures in Lithuanian history.
The coins are presented in an elegant original collector’s case with certificate of authenticity, confirming the specifications and limited production of the set.
According to the certificate, this issue is part of a strictly limited edition of only 3,000 sets, produced to showcase Lithuania’s proposed Euro coinage designs before joining the Eurozone.
